A licensee may apply, in writing, for a variance or waiver to a regulation provided the variance or waiver in no way jeopardizes the health, safety or well-being of the children. Variances and waivers need to be approved in writing by the Department.

Any individual or license holder may appeal an adverse decision made by the Department. This requires for the individual or license holder to submit a Formal Request for Hearing:
