Description: Youth are placed in one of several living units or cottages based on age, offence, treatment need:
1. Detention Unit: Pre-adjudicated residents
2. Mathias: Female residents
3. Unit 2: Short term residents
4. Unit 3: Long term, older residents
5. Unit 5: Long term, older residents and school graduates
6. Unit 6: Substance Abuse Unit
7. Unit 7: Sex Offender Unit
8. Youth Correctional Center (YCC): Maximum security
Each residential unit has a Unit Manager and a Clinical Social Worker who are part of the Treatment Team. In addition, there are Juvenile Program Workers who are direct care employees.
