The Rhode Island Family Information System (RIFIS) is a web-based application providing tools for case management, service coordination and reporting that has been configured to automate the requirements and instruments defined by the Department of Children, Youth and Families.

The lead and partner agencies within the Family Care Community Partnerships (FCCPs) will use RIFIS to track the child, family and service information associated with wraparound service planning and delivery.

Family Care Community Partnerships (FCCPs) are a formal collaborative structure for joint planning and decision-making through which community partners take collective responsibility for development and implementation of system of care and the Wraparound process for families with children and youth who are at risk for child abuse and neglect, who have serious emotional disturbance (SED) and/or who are returning to the community after completing a sentence to the Rhode Island Training School.

The “FCCP” for purposes of these standards refers to all FCCP providers, including all formal and informal community partners. The “FCCP Lead” refers to the fiscal agent responsible for building partnerships and developing a comprehensive network of available formal and informal services and supports.
